Making

I love to make things! From greenwood carving to solid wood furniture utilising locally grown timber. I appreciate traditional crafts as they often provide answers on how to consider sustainability and objects in a new light, and I strive to continue learning and practising new techniques.

The Ebworth Stools series, made in collaboration with the Sylva Foundation’s Wood School and the National Trust, were the winners of the 2024 Wood Award for Production Made Furniture. Crafted from homegrown ash from the Ebworth Estate, which was felled due to ash dieback, they are a bittersweet reminder of the importance of woodland management and biodiversity loss in the UK. You can find more information about the project HERE.
